In the last years has been developed many wireless systems that can monitor and acquire some physical and environmental parameters, like temperature, pressure, humidity, and so on, in a wide area, without the need of a main power source, since they are battery powered. The most part of these systems can work for many months or years, without any intervention by the user.

Even though such type of systems is so common, there are only a few systems that permits to the devices to move while acquiring datas; the most part of the systems are static, so once deployed, every device works from its place.

The reason is that it's difficult to obtain meaningful data and most of all to be able to transfer the acquired data to the final user, while moving. This is the case of the system presented in this page: a tyre pressure monitoring system.
